PartitionControl is a type of adware that targets macOS systems, belonging to the AdLoad malware family. It infiltrates computers silently, often bundled with freeware or through deceptive online ads. Once installed, PartitionControl displays intrusive advertisements, alters browser settings, and can compromise user privacy by collecting browsing data.
